About us
Cactus Equipment and Leasing — Utah Construction Equipment Broker
Late-model, lower-hour machines, sourced the same way the big fleets buy them.
How we source equipment
Most of what we sell comes off lease or out of contractor fleets that are upgrading, rotating, or liquidating. That's where the late-model, lower-hour Caterpillar machines live — well-maintained iron with documented history, priced well below new. We work those relationships directly instead of buying picked-over auction lots.
We also handle non-Cat machines and consignment pieces when they make sense for a buyer. Cactus is an independent broker and reseller, not an authorized Caterpillar dealer.
Sourcing & consignment
If the machine you need isn't in our current listings, that's a normal day here. Give us the model range, configuration, acceptable hours and your budget, and we'll go find it through our network. On the other side, if you have equipment to move, we'll market it to buyers across Utah and the Western United States on consignment and manage the sale process for you.
Financing and rent-to-own
Cactus does not finance equipment directly. What we do have is a set of established contacts in the equipment finance market who fund used machines, and we'll make the introduction. We also run occasional Rent-to-Own (RPO) programs, typically over a 3 to 6 month term, when it fits the machine and the buyer.
